Active Choices is a class designed to teach our youth the importance of health and nutrition, and how to maintain good health throughout their lives. In the class, the kids participate in warm-ups, stretches, and core intense physical exercises. The kids are also expected to perform cardio workouts where they’re taught how to breathe and run with form and proper technique. Active Choices also teaches the parents how to work out and eat properly, helping them to build a strong foundation for their kids. The Active Choices Club is current facilitated by Laschinski Emerson, the founder of the S.M.A.R.T Institute/A1 Learning Connections.
