Two of our Stella S.M.A.R.T INSTITUTE Austin-East Magnet High Students were selected to attend the FBI Teen Academy. Our Director, Laschinski Emerson; Leticia Armstrong and Quinton Calhoun got up early on their day off from school to arrive at the FBI Building at 7:30 am to attendthe academy!!
The Teen Academy allows high school students an opportunity to get a comprehensive look into today’s FBI. Several topics including terrorism, cybercrime, evidence response, EOD, recruiting, student internships, and the day-to-day operations of a typical FBI office were presented during the academy. The students had also an opportunity to visit the FBI store and of course they purchase something
